DIY Solar Projects anyone?

Looking around the net for ideas of the sorts of do it yourself solar energy projects people are doing these days I came across Build It Solar. A site specializing in just that. And it's got something for every type of solar energy use I can think of (and a pile that I wouldn't have thought of), from heating and cooling (and of course lighting), to cooking, to vehicles.
I haven't gone through every list of projects yet (there's a LOT there), so I'm not sure just where I want to start, but for now I'm thinking maybe a solar BBQ ...
